Three indie kids look in bemusement at a local legend in Chicago, the guy who goes to every festival, doesn't listen to any of the bands, and just plays hacky sack. There was actually an article on him in the local entertainment paper, The Reader shortly before Lollapalooza (and after this concert). He usually wears tie-dyed shirts that he cuts up himself. The replacement on September 14 was to clean up the color a bit. The kids in the back all looked like they had a really disfiguring case of acne.

Today and tommorow we are on Kauai. We rented a car today an have
visited a Couple of scenic spots, pictures in our photo stream on
flickr. Just click on this picture to get to flickr. We are at Poipo
beach now. It is one of the top beaches on Kauai. It has big surf
along with surfers as well a two tidal areas for kids and family's. It
took about 25 min to get here from the airport and port area. This is
a great beach next time you are in Kauai.
